Almond Milk Porridge

This vegan porridge sets you up for the day, helping to keep those toast cravings at bay. If you prefer a runnier porridge, add extra milk. You can easily use cow's milk if you would like a non vegan option or another non-dairy milk like soya milk.

Method

1 Put the porridge oats, milk and salt in the saucepan and mix.

2 Bring porridge to the boil and reduce to a simmer for 5 - 6 mins stirring regularly so that you get a creamy porridge.

3 To serve pour porridge into bowls and top with maple syrup, pomegranate seeds and extra fruit.
