American Style Hamburger with Sweetcorn Relish
For a lighter, healthier burger try using minced pork. Mix in some lemon zest, nutmeg and fresh thyme for a fuller flavour.

1 Mix the beef with the onion and Worcestershire sauce and shape into four even sized patties. Slice the sesame bun and lightly toast. Grill, fry or barbecue the hamburgers for about 4-5 minutes on each side - add the cheese slices for the last couple of minutes of cooking so that they start to melt.
2 To make the stack, spread some mustard and/or ketchup on the buns, add shredded lettuce and then lay the burgers on top. Add slices of tomato and dill pickle, some crispy bacon and then secure with a cocktail stick.
3 Serve with sea-salt sprinkled chunky chips, sweetcorn relish on the side, and - unless you're feeling very brave - a knife and fork!
