Paté and Pomegranate Crostini
Crostini's, meaning 'little toast' in Italian make for the perfect Christmas appetizers at the festive party or starters to your Christmas day meal! These tasty little Christmas bites can be served as a canapé with drinks or as a starter with a green leaf salad.

Cooking time 4 minutes
1 Preheat the grill to high. Mix together the red onion, coriander and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
2 Put the baguette slices on a baking tray and lightly toast both sides under the grill. Top the toasts with the paté and a spoonful of the red onion mixture. Scatter over a few pomegranate seeds followed by the cumin seeds. Drizzle with a little olive oil and arrange on a serving plate.
