School run, swimming lessons, toddler tantrums, tea time! Sound familiar?
We know it can be a tough job so we’re on a mission find out what makes your mum, or a mum you know so special.
From toddler and adolescents, to being a mum yourself, we’re fortunate enough to remember those times when your mum, or a mum in your family has helped you get through a sticky situation in your life.
Whether it’s you mum, a friend of the family, a sibling or wider family member, we all know a female who we are inspired by.
In honour of the upcoming celebration of mums everywhere, we’re giving you the chance to thank special mums by entering our Mother’s Day competition. Three lucky winners will receive our recently launched Dura Forge bundle, and a stunning bouquet of flowers.
At Prestige HQ, some of our favourites tips from our mums so far include counting to three in stressful situations, never kiss on a first date and that there’s nothing like family!
So now it’s your turn to tell us why your mum is your hero and you could be in with a chance of winning a Dura Forge bundle and beautiful bunch of flowers to say thank you. ,
We’ve had some great feedback from our Prestige fans so far…
“I'd love to win this for my Mum. My Mum Linda truly is one in a million.
She beams with love, laughter, smiles and positivity and taught me to live in the moment and that kindness can never be a bad thing. My Mum truly is the best.”
“My daughter Christine has very low self-esteem and she manages her 3 boys one of whom is autistic, really well.
She has just managed to lose a stone in weight and is doing so well. This would be lovely to give her a boost.”
“I’m tagging the wonderful Mell who is a wonderful mother to her beautiful daughter Mini and she is also a great friend who always thinks of others xx #MothersDay”
“This is my wonderful mother in law, she's 75 and she still manages to keep up with my 5-year old son.
She has done so much for us over the years. Best of all she brought my amazing husband into the world and raised him to be such a fantastic person. She has a heart of gold.” ,
We’ve even been sent this poem about mum;
“Although I once flushed her favourite necklace down the loo,
Mum's the one who'll always cheer me up when I'm feeling blue.
When shopping she'll always tell me what doesn't suit,
and she told me when to give my rubbish ex the boot!
She's given me loads of fantastic cooking tips,
so luckily now I can cook more than just chips! When I sit down with Mum with a cuppa and a good old natter,
it seems as if all my worries and troubles no longer matter.
She's wise, loving, full of advice, cool and hip,
She's even taught her granddaughter how to skip!
Whatever happens I know Mum will always be there,
So, this Mother's Day I'll be showing her how much I care!” ,We know it can be a tough job, for all mums, we’re proud to be your family friend in the kitchen for generations.
What would we do without you?!
