Almond Milk Porridge

This vegan porridge sets you up for the day, helping to keep those toast cravings at bay. If you prefer a runnier porridge, add extra milk. You can easily use cow's milk if you would like a non vegan option or another non-dairy milk like soya milk.

Ingredients

150g porridge oats

900ml almond milk

Pinch of salt

Maple syrup

Seeds from one pomegranate

Fruit of your choice (we used Blueberries)

Instructions

1Put the porridge oats, milk and salt in the saucepan and mix

2Bring porridge to the boil and reduce to a simmer for 5 - 6 mins stirring regularly so that you get a creamy porridge

3To serve pour porridge into bowls and top with maple syrup, pomegranate seeds and extra fruit.
