Ingredients
3 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
5 ½ pounds pork ribs
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1½ pints of water
¾ cup ketchup
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup Chinese vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Cornflour
Sesame seeds
Instructions
1Mix paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a resealable plastic bag. Place ribs in bag, seal the bag, and shake thoroughly until ribs are completely coated. Remove ribs from bag and discard dry rub
2 Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Cook ribs in hot oil until browned all over, 3 to 4 minutes per side
3 Stir water, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce together in a pressure cooker. Add browned ribs to pressure cooker. Lock the lid onto the pressure cooker, bring the cooker up to pressure on the 12lb setting (II) wait for the red visual pressure to rise and then wait for change in the sound and then reduce heat to medium maintaining the red visual pressure indicator in the upright position
4 Cook ribs over medium heat for 13 minutes. Remove from heat and release pressure by moving the pressure regulator to the steam release position
5 Remove ribs onto a heated place and using some corn flour return the base of the cooker to the heat source and thicken the sauce accordingly
6 Dress the ribs onto the plate and pour over sauce (or serve separately) and sprinkle with some sesame seeds.
