This simple foolproof crepe recipe is made with just 5 common store cupboards ingredients. Serve them with either sweet or savoury toppings for breakfast, lunch and even dinner.

Ingredients

150g plain flour

350ml milk

1 large egg

Pinch of salt

1 tbsp melted butter

cooled

Butter for frying

To serve fruits

honey

crème and nuts.

Instructions

1Add the flour, milk, egg and salt into a blender and whiz until smooth

2Pour the pancake batter into a bowl and mix in the cooled butter

3Heat the frying pan on a medium heat, melt a little knob of butter, and add a ladle full of pancake batter

4Swirl the pan so the batter spreads out in a thin layer over the pan. Cook for a minute before flipping and cooking for about 30 seconds until done

5Remove crepe and, set aside in a warm place and continue cooking, adding some more butter before adding more batter, till all the crepes are done,Serve crepes with toppings of your choice.
