60g Popcorn Kernels30g Salted Butter1-2tbs Caster Sugar
Instructions
- Select your largest saucepan with a lid (a glass lid makes a big difference) and drizzle a small amount of oil on the bottom
- Divide the popcorn kernels into two batches (30g each) and scoop the first batch into your saucepan. Make sure your lid is firmly in place and cook your kernels over medium heat. You will soon see the kernels popping -- do not remove the lid! Once the popping dies down, take your pan off the heat. Wait until all popping has stopped before removing the lid
- Decant your popcorn into a bowl, and repeat with the second batch of kernels
- After you have popped your popcorn, melt the butter in the saucepan over a low heat
- Add the popcorn and stir thoroughly to coat evenly with the butter, then sprinkle over the sugar and stir again. Serve warm in a sharing dish.
